It started with one empty drive home
I’m a private hire driver.
One of many journeys I completed was from Gravesend to Leamington Spa. The outbound journey was good work and the passenger reached their destination safely, but when I turned the car around to head home, the return journey was empty.
No passenger.
No income.
Just a long drive back consuming fuel, time and road space. During that drive, one question kept coming back to me:
